Margarita Ramirez, Assoc Clinical Social Worker
I am a first-generation Latina that grew up in the rural areas of the Central Valley. As a bilingual (English/Spanish) Associate Clinical Social Worker, I bring many years of experience supporting individuals and families through complex challenges. My clinical approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, CBT, motivational interviewing, and strength-based interventions, and I specialize in working with youth, families, and individuals navigating trauma, substance use, system involvement, or crises.
Throughout my career from social services and probation to mental health settings, I’ve cultivated a deep understanding of how environments, culture, and early experiences shape behavior. My goal is to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their stories, feel heard and supported, develop coping skills, and reclaim their strengths.
I believe therapy should be collaborative, down-to-earth and tailored to your unique needs. Healing looks different for everyone so whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship issues, or life transitions, I’m here to support your journey toward healing and growth.
