Kristian Welz
Hi! I’m Kristian Welz, a dedicated third-year graduate student at Fresno State in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. My mission is to empower adolescents and young adults as they navigate the complexities of life, not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, behavioral challenges, and substance use disorders. I integrate solution-focused and strength-based strategies with cognitive-behavioral therapy to address maladaptive thought patterns. My approach is both flexible and compassionate, designed to uncover and amplify each individual’s unique strengths and resilience. I understand that seeking help can be daunting, especially in a world where mental health stigma often prevails. That’s why I am committed to offering non-judgmental support and creating a safe space where individuals feel valued and understood. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or simply need someone to actively listen to your experiences, I am here to provide that attentive ear and empathetic presence.
As a multicultural professional, I take pride in delivering inclusive care that recognizes and celebrates diverse backgrounds, identities, and experiences. My goal is to ensure every individual feels seen, heard, and supported, no matter their personal journey.Outside of my professional life, I enjoy cooking, baking, scrapbooking, viewing crime documentaries, and spending cherished moments with my family. These passions enrich my life and fuel my dedication to helping others.
