Isamar Gonzalez, AMFT
Hello, I’m Isa, a First-Generation Latina Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. Raised in the Central Valley, I’ve had the opportunity to recognize the need for mental health services and support members of my community from various populations. I attended Fresno City college where I studied Criminal Justice, I then transferred to Fresno State where I received a BS in Criminology with an emphasis in Victimology, and a Master's of Science in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling. I have 5 years of experience in the counseling field. I’ve supported individuals battling addiction, anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, family conflict, relational issues, life adjustments, stress management, self-esteem, and inner child work. Counseling in both English and Spanish, I focus on providing a safe, comfortable, open, and judgment-free space utilizing appropriate evidence-based interventions. My goal is to end the stigma surrounding mental health services and empower you to be your best healed version, breaking generational curses and cycles. Please allow me the pleasure of walking alongside you on your healing journey.
