Giovanni Camacho, AMFT

As a Latino AMFT with a strong cultural identity, I am not only able to communicate in Spanish with clients but also have a deep understanding of cultural nuances that could influence behaviors and treatment outcomes in therapy. I provide a nurturing and judgment-free space while providing “carefrontation,” a compassionate way to challenge negative beliefs and promote personal growth.
I’ve worked with a wide range of “life inconveniences”, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, life transitions/adjustment periods, PTSD, and complex trauma. My therapeutic approach lies predominately in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and drawing from Solution-Focused, Person-centered, and Psychoanalytic therapeutic modalities.
I obtained my B.A. in Psychology and M.S. in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from California State University, Fresno. I hope to work alongside you so you can reach your fullest potential.
