Elida Ledesma
Hello and Welcome!
I’m Elida (Ellie) Ledesma a bilingual Spanish/English Associate Marriage and Family therapist. My purpose as a therapist is to support you as you make sense of difficult, stressful, or unexpected life experiences and make meaningful life changes. In therapy, I provide you with a safe space where you feel heard and we work collaboratively to help you make progress towards your goals. Sessions often focus on helping you gain insight into patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving and learning to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
I provide psychotherapy to children (7+), adolescents, and adults. I firmly believe that therapy is most effective when tailored to meet each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. I draw from various therapeutic techniques, including Person-Centered, Attachment, Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Mindfulness based approaches. The areas of focus in my practice include anxiety, depression, self-esteem, anger management, stress management, relationship issues, grief, and life transitions.
Rest assured, my educational background includes an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy and a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Fresno Pacific University, equipping me with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide you with the best possible care.
I look forward to walking alongside you on your therapy journey.
