Ariel Floriano
Ariel Floriano earned her Master of Science in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton and holds dual licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She has gained experience working in various settings, including non-profit agencies, community mental health, and private practice. In these positions, she has worked with diverse groups and addressed clinical concerns such as depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, relational problems, and affirming therapy for LGBTQ+ issues. Her approach integrates DBT, CBT, and psychodynamic interventions.
Ariel believes that therapy can facilitate change, with the therapist as a guide and the client as the driver. She aims to create a safe, accepting, affirmative, and encouraging environment where she collaborates with her clients to help them achieve their unique goals. She is eager to meet with each client, hear their stories, and support them on their healing journeys.
