Nicole Castillo

Nicole Castillo is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping others on their journey towards healing and growth.

Born and raised in the Central Valley, Nicole brings a deep understanding and connection to the community she serves. Nicole has received a solid educational background, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Development from Fresno Pacific University and went on to earn a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary.

Nicole has gained extensive experience working with children and individuals particularly in trauma-focused therapy. Nicole specializes in working with individuals with ADHD, transitional life experiences, new mothers, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Through a Narrative theoretical orientation, Nicole helps clients re-author their stories and find empowerment and healing through understanding how the stories we tell ourselves shape our worldview and interactions with others.

In addition to Narrative Therapy, Nicole integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing into her practice. These evidence-based modalities are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, addressing emotional and psychological difficulties they may be struggling with.

Nicole is committed to assisting clients in making positive changes to improve their well-being and enhance their quality of life. Through a collaborative and empathetic therapeutic relationship, Nicole strives to support clients in overcoming challenges and achieving their goals.
