Jennifer Sousa

I invite you on a collaborative journey, where I use an integrative therapy approach to safely and compassionately help individuals, families and couples navigate through life’s challenges and guide them towards a path of self-discovery and healing- one day at a time.

I obtained my B.A. in Sociology and M.S. in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from California State University, Fresno. I am currently a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #131756. Some evidence-based practices I utilize, but not limited to are CBT, DBT, IFS, Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Attachment, Bowenian, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, expressive art and play therapy.

I have gained certificates from CAMFT, Compassion Institute,The Couples Institute under Ellyn Bader Ph.D, and David Kessler’s Grief Educator program to provide compassionate and supportive healing. I also speak Portuguese and Spanish.

In my spare time you can find me cuddled with my fur babies, outdoors, exploring new adventures both near and far, playing games with family and friends, and or doing some sort of arts and craft project.
