Hello, and welcome!
My name is Crystal Armendariz, and I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC #16870). I provide individual therapy for children, teens, and adults (ages 8 and up). My passion is helping people navigate life’s challenges, whether that means working through depression, anxiety, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), or major life transitions.
I believe therapy is a collaborative journey. We work together to set goals and explore solutions that feel right for you. I draw on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), always tailoring my approach to each client’s unique needs. Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people from many different walks of life, including those living with intellectual disabilities, individuals experiencing homelessness, youth impacted by commercial sexual exploitation (CSEC), those working through substance use concerns, and members of the LGBTQ2+ community.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Service Management and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. Outside of counseling, I enjoy traveling and spending meaningful time with my family and friends, both of which help me recharge and stay grounded.
