Hello, I’m Wendie, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor providing therapy to individuals, children, and couples. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Point Loma Nazarene University and my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Education from Colorado Christian University.
I am trained in trauma-focused therapies, including Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and somatic-based approaches. My work is grounded in the science of neuroplasticity, attachment theory, and embodied regulation.
In our work together, I will offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your emotions and experiences at your own pace. I’m not the kind of therapist who simply sits back and listens. I’m very active in session, walking alongside you, offering both empathy and gentle challenge to help you uncover the patterns that keep you stuck. Together, we’ll cultivate new ways of relating to yourself and others and support profound, lasting transformation.
