Danelle Arritt-Mendez, AMFT
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I received my Bachelors in Psychology from CSU Monterey Bay and graduated with my Masters in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of San Francisco. I have experience working in behavioral therapy including Advanced Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) with families as well as being a therapist for adults, teens and children who have a variety of mental health struggles including complex trauma, depression, anxiety, communication issues, etc. I enjoy working with couples, individuals and the LGBTQA+ population. I utilize various therapeutic techniques but focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, and Parenting/Attachment through a cultural humility and client centered lens. I have been trained in Co-Occurring Training and have experience working with individuals who struggle with both substance use and mental health concerns. It is a privilege to hear people’s stories and support them in their journey to reach their goals!
