Maddison Martin, ACSW

Hi, I’m Maddison and I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW127719) with a passion for working with others to feel more empowered and confident. I obtained my undergraduate degree in psychology from Louisiana State University and a master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of Kentucky. I have had the pleasure of working as a therapist with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, as well as couples and families. I have experience working with symptoms of depression, anxiety, self-esteem, pressures related to sports and athletics, and adjustments to major life change. As a military spouse, I am no stranger to change and know how important connection and coping skills can be.

My focus as your therapist is to work collaboratively towards your identified goals, using a compassionate person-centered approach. I also utilize a cognitive behavioral approach, placing an emphasis on the connection between one’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and how the three are shaped by our past experiences and inform our current perceptions. My hope is that our work fosters a judgement-free environment where clients feel empowered to work through difficulty and begin the healing process.

In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, playing sports, reading, and trying new restaurants. I am excited to be working in the Central Valley and look forward to our work together!
