Chelsea Abila
Chelsea is an Associate Clinical Social Worker. As part of her practice, she incorporates a strong clinical approach with an emphasis on working with severely traumatized clients. Chelsea places an emphasis on person-centered growth and a strength-based approach to build on human resilience.
Chelsea earned her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Massachusetts. She is a trained Trauma and Somatic psychotherapist and specializes in the integration of clinical Shadow work and Complex Trauma. Chelsea is also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Hypnotherapy, Breathwork, and Somatic Havening.
Chelsea obtained her BA at Fresno Pacific University. This is where she was introduced to and became interested in the injustice and oppression within various sectors. She is a Latina who is passionate and devoted to helping those who are in need. Chelsea enjoys working with clients who suffer from childhood physical, emotional, and sexual abuse and neglect. Chelsea has several years of experience working with clients who suffer from intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as those who suffer from chronic homelessness.
